Remembering the victims of NATO bombing of Serbia
  
 
The Ottawa Serbian Heritage Society is marking 11 years of the start of the bombing of Serbiacommencing on March 24th, 1999, and lasting 78 days.  We will pray for the victims of this crime at7:30PMon Wednesday, March 24, 2010in the Serbian Orthodox Church at 3662 Albion Rd. South. 
 
In the last eleven years, the Albanians have expelled more than 220,000 Serbs and non-Albanians and killed and kidnapped thousands, even killing them for organ harvesting.   They have destroyed 150 Serbian churches and monasteries, dating from the 11th century on.  The few remaining non-Albanians live virtually imprisoned behind barbed wire.  The “independent” Kosovo of today is ruled by criminal structures, is a hotbed for illegal drug trafficking, is rampant with corruption, overwhelmingly influenced by the radical Muslim Wahabi sect and intolerant of any non-Albanian ethnicity.
